Austin Startup Community in Full Force Next Week

A few hours ago, I received the “last call” email for what is sure to be a jam-packed week of events showing the Austin Startup Community: AustinStartupWeek.com.

Going into its 8th year, Austin is rolling out its red carpet to locals and visitors interested in its booming startup scene.

With over 100+ events nearly 10,000 attendees expected to show — consisting of panels, meetups, happy hours, workshops, band battles, hackathons, career fairs and more — spread across five full days — Oct 1st-5th, the first of October is certainly leading into two exciting weekends of nothing but music — Austin City Limits Festival.

Although it’s FREE and open to the public, I’m not certain my schedule will allow for another conference, recouping and coming fresh off the hills of the MERGE! Conference in Orlando.

And of course, you know I have to mention and give a hat-tip to the organizers of Austin Startup Week securing and using the matching .com domains AustinStartupWeek.com and ATXStartupWeek.com.

These organizers know how to protect while build and promote their one-of-a-kind brand. Way to go! ?

Nevertheless, check out this year’s schedule and speakers set to hit the stage next week. You might as well go ahead and sign up. You know you want to go! ?

I’ll let you know if I decide to call an audible and go at the last moment. Have a great weekend, and that’s all for now! ?
