Well, Christmas has come and gone just like that, in a twinkle of an eye.
The Christmas tree sits bare with gifts no longer underneath it, and discarded boxes and wrapping paper are not far behind.
Toys have been played with and meals have been had or soon to be. And oh what meals we’ve had with dinner soon on the way.
What a joy it’s been to celebrate the birth of Christ with family, friends, and neighbors this season.
Speaking of neighbors, one of my neighbors so graciously shared a gift that has me writing at this at this very moment.
If you hang around me long enough, then you’ll quickly discover I have an insatiable sweet tooth at times.
This Christmas Day my neighbor of 9 years and counting surprised me with a pie, a pecan pie.
And this isn’t just any ole’ pecan pie either. It’s a Texas Talking Pecan Pie. ?
If you’ve never heard or tasted of the goodness of a Texas Talking Pecan Pie, then you don’t know what you’re missing. ?
Nevertheless, my neighbor and I cut into the pie and partook of it together as we do with any of his tasty treat findings.
Although my heart would soon be swooned by the pie, it was captured by the domain on the serving utensil that came with the pie: TxTalkingPies.com. ?
Talk about a clever, yet genius method to advertise a domain name!
Between the domain and the pie itself, I was on cloud 9, to say the least.
And of course, you know I couldn’t wait to get to the nearest web browser to explore their website and discover what other domain possibilities existed. ?
As for their website, it’s an easy-to-use, responsive website that looks to be securely hosted using Squarespace.com.
Although the website could use a bit more branding, what they have currently is simple and works well to tell their story and likely drive greater conversion.
As for domains, one of the first things I desperately wanted to know was who owned TexasTalkingPies.com.
So, I opened a web browser and was relieved to find that it redirects to TxTalkingPies.com. ?
Although not an exhaustive domain list, here’s what I came to mind as I began searching for alternative domain options (* denotes available at time of writing):
There’s not much left to say although I could drone on about the tasty treat from heaven known as the Texas Talking Pie. ?
Although it’s truly a pie worth talking about and pontificating upon, nothing compares to tasting and experiencing it for yourself.
And speaking of taste, I’m about due for another tasty conversation.
Gotta run, but I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas! ?
