It’s time for Spring and Summer RV road trips

Reading Time | 3 Minutes

Spring is here with Summer fast approaching. Ironically, the weather we’ve had a few days this week here in Texas has me thinking it’s fall.

I know, I know. It’s nothing but oasis and the dry and hot summer days will be here to remind me in no time.

With Spring almost behind and summer here, I’m starting to see quite a few recreational vehicles, also known as RVs, take to the road.

These RV’s are packed and stacked from top to bottom with all sorts of accessories, trip necessities, and an occasional car or jeep in tow too.

I’m not certain where they are going as I go to and from work, but I’m certain it might have to do with a bucket list of some sort or just good ole’ rest and relaxation.

As I travel up down the Interstate Highway 35, also known as IH35 and I35, I encountered a multitude of billboard signage for a number of businesses and wide ranging in industries and markets served.

Some of the signage is quite clever and thought provoking, while others are thought provoking and not in a kind manner either.

You can tell a lot about a business just from their billboard signage and advertisement in general.

Just the other day, my wife and I were traveling from San Antonio to Austin when I noticed a phenomenal billboard ad, in my humble opinion.

What caught my eye about the ad was that the domain name took center stage. It was eye catching with bold black font on a white background that covered at least 40% of the billboard.

It had other content such as a one liner, broad direction, city and state, and a phone number. In my opinion, they could have done away with the phone number and simply used the domain name.

It’s billboard like this that makes me want to visit the business to simply shake the business owner’s hand and hug his or her neck. They get it! They get how to effectively use domain names and billboard signage to drive more business.

I know that they are an RV business located in Sequin, Texas and that I can visit SeguinRV.com to view their website. Good looking and easy-to-use website, and social media profiles to accompany too.
